University and College Cooperative Program
Practical training and internships for University students.
Petro Rabigh offers University and college Cooperative Program (CO-OP)
to a limited number of high-caliber Saudi students who are attending in-Kingdom or out-of-Kingdom universities, as well as those attending industrial/technical colleges or the Institute of Public Administration.
The objective of this program is to assist participants in gaining practical work experience and help them meet the graduation requirements of their respective schools. Participants who take part in the program are evaluated at the end of the program to determine their overall grade for the internship credits required by the school.
Program Objectives

Provide students with an opportunity to enrich their university experience by relating the academic studies to actual work situations. Students will also have the opportunity to evaluate their professional interest in the respective field of study.

Enable colleges and universities to assess the academic preparation of their students through the student's Internship report, an oral presentation, and work evaluation reports submitted by the participant's Saudi Aramco supervisor. Such assessments help colleges and universities to ensure that academic training is effectual in preparing the students for their future careers.

Allow students to acquire new skills, get them used to creative thinking, and allow them to practice problem solving and decision-making.
Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3 out of 4 or 4 out of 5

The duration of the training required by the university must be at least 2 months or 6 months.

Applicant must not have graduated from his/her university.

Accepted students must not be enrolled in university classes/modules during their training period.
