Head, Asset Management Section
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership & Governance
Lead the Asset Management Section and ensure alignment with the corporate Asset Management Strategy and ISO 55000 principles.
Oversee and govern the Asset Management and Reliability Framework.
Provide technical governance for critical equipment failures, RCAs, and major reliability events.
Lead multidisciplinary teams to address major concerns, disruptions, and improvement opportunities within assigned areas.
Lead relevant departmental initiatives and strategies to support long-term company goals.
Represent the department in ROC, RSC, and all required communication meetings.
Asset Strategy & Reliability
Develop long-term asset strategies covering reliability, integrity, lifecycle cost, replacement planning, and performance improvement.
Oversee RCM, RBI, FMEA, equipment strategy optimization, and reliability analytics.
Identify, analyze, and report KPIs on potential failures of critical assets and associated systems.
Review and develop technical deliverables and KPIs to ensure solutions to asset reliability issues comply with engineering standards and safety requirements.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
Lead asset performance reviews, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement programs.
Respond to technical queries or assignments outside main key accountabilities when required.
Drive continuous improvement in asset management skills, processes, and methodologies.
Compliance & Standardization
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and asset management best practices.
Ensure technical solutions and reliability programs adhere to engineering and safety standards.
People, Budget & Capability Development
Manage budgets, manpower planning, competency development, and contractor performance.
Enhance asset management capabilities through effective training, knowledge sharing, and participation in relevant seminars/workshops.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ensure strong collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HSE to support asset performance and reliability objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
20 Years of Technical Experience in engineering field, in Petro chemical / Oil & Gas and preferably at least five years in Supervisory role
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical is preferred
Deep knowledge of ISO 55000, Reliability Engineering, Asset Integrity, Maintenance Strategy.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
High competency in RCM, RCA (TapRooT), FMEA, RAM modelling, RBI.
Strong understanding of CMMS (SAP), KPIs, and lifecycle cost modelling.
Ability to manage teams, resolve complex technical issues, and drive performance improvement.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) – SMRP
Certified Reliability Leader CRL
ISO 55000 Asset Management Certification (Practitioner or Lead Auditor)
