Project Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a professional responsible for delivering a complete, accurate, and buildable set of plans for all project structures. This role ensures that all designs meet quality standards and project requirements. Additionally, you will manage the procurement of materials and equipment within the approved budget and schedule, while coordinating with relevant departments to guarantee timely deliveries and services.
1. Operations Management
- Ensure safe and stable plant operations during shifts.
- Supervise and coordinate plant personnel during startups, shutdowns, and major operational changes.
- Guarantee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all scheduled tasks.
- Coordinate plant operations with connected facilities for seamless performance.
2. Maintenance Coordination
- Work closely with Maintenance teams to minimize production disruptions during maintenance activities.
3. Staff Development
- Coach and mentor shift operators regularly to enhance operational skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
4. Troubleshooting
- Detect and resolve plant and equipment issues promptly to maintain operational stability.
- Implement effective countermeasures after troubleshooting to prevent recurrence.
5. Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure all shift operations meet safety and environmental standards.
- Report any environmental concerns to the Deputy Section Manager immediately.
6. Record-Keeping
- Verify and maintain accurate operating logs and records for all shift activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years experience in Mechanical Engineering and experience in Oil & Gas /Petrochemical Industry
- Good knowledge in engineering fields and construction
- Good analytical, negotiation & budgeting skills
Additional Experience Required
- Support FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) deliverables and coordinate with design consultants.
- Manage EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) execution activities, including material selection, design review, and construction interface.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and Ministry requirements.
