Contracts Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate as the contract proponent representative in a professional analysis of bid response and negotiation of offers and preparation of counter offers.
Sourcing potential contractors for the given project, services valuations, and prequalification. Also, negotiate with contractors as part of a negotiating team comprised of contracting and contract proponent representatives.
Prepare company estimate documentation and review the documents such that there are no technical glitches. Also, provide assistance in the procurement and administration of contracts.
Secure proper performance of contractor by monitoring and checking routine contract activities, ensuring invoice processing and day to day administrative communication with contractor, planning corrective actions when Contractor performance is deficient and maintaining a log of all contractual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of contracting experience in the Oil and Gas Industry /Petrochemical Industry.
- Understanding of MRP or ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Knowledgeable about invoice verification and contracting practices with demonstrable technical and negotiation skills.
