Operation Coordinator- Chemical Engineer
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Coordinator with a background in Chemical Engineering to oversee operations at our LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) plant. Reporting directly to the Polymer II Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous improvement, product enhancement, and overall sustainability of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the LDPE plant, ensuring the efficient and effective production process.
- Implement strategies for enhancing the quality and efficiency of LDPE products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including maintenance, engineering, and safety teams to drive plant optimization and sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee operational processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and execute process improvements to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or a related field).
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in a refinery or petrochemical manufacturing environment, with a specialized focus on EVA/LDPE.
- Process Expertise: Deep understanding of petrochemical plant layout and operations, with proficiency in HDPE Slurry process, LLDPE, PP Gas Phase processes, and Butene-1 (Axens Technology) process.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in operations and maintenance within industrial work environments.

- Ability to oversee plant performance, drive improvements, and troubleshoot complex operational issues.
