Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides day-to-day “facility” engineering support for plant operation as well as provides high-level technical support to chronic facility failure issues related to Mechanical, Instrument, DCS & SIS. TSD is custodian of PRC Engineering standards, documents, and recommendation tracking.

Prepare designs, processes and related data for engineering problems to ensure that work is completed as per deadline and engineering standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS or Engineering degree in Process Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Electrical Engineering with major in Electronics) or related field (such as system enginnering or computer engineering (software design)from reputable universities. Process Knowledge is a must.
• Min 5 up to 20 years experience (depending on the grade code and more than 12 years is prefered) in Process control and automation, preferably in oil & petrochemical industry
• Certifications, such as Certified Automation Engineer is desirable

Other Requirements: 

1. Lead engineers in performing special high level assignments requiring extensive demonstrated technical knowledge.

2. Process knowledge in related oil / petrochemical plants.

3. Certifications, such as Certified Automation Engineer is desirable.

4. Analytical skills (Develop control methods, procedures, and programs to eliminate causative factors associated with specific problems).
