Planning and Scheduling Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop the daily, weekly schedule for the Process unit operation targets in line with SROP to meet product lifting & inventory targets.
2. Minimize quality giveaway by optimizing blending recipes for all products and components and achieve the QGA targets.
3. Manage all the gas balance including fuel gas and hydrogen and set operation targets and monitor performance.
4. Monitor actual production, streams qualities, tanks and all aspect that affect the plan and identify any deviation from target and ensure proper corrective action and follow up with operation.
5. Control tanks inventory and berth schedule in line with short range operating plan, daily & weekly schedule, based on accepted Nominations by Marketer and approved inventory targets.
6. Schedule feedstock receiving e.g. crude receiving in coordination with Planning Team and procurement and cater for any special logistic requirement e.g. (berth schedule, tanks ullage, etc.
7. Schedule all finished products lifting through the terminal and truck loading and ensure the readiness of product.
8. Schedule and manage the marketers’ nominations including creating and maintaining Nomination and Sales Order in SAP and follow upentire process including inspection, loading, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
1) BSc degree in Chemical Engineering.
2) Min 3 Years’ experience in the role of Planning & Scheduling Engineer in Refinery & Petrochemical.
3. Good experience in using scheduling and blend tools.
