Petro Rabigh was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. The plant is valued at about US $10 billion and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $9 billion that reached full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and provided a wide range of new high value-added products, some of which are exclusive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Duties and responsibility 1. Develop and implement effective technical marketing strategies to drive sales and increase product netback value for PRC polymer products. 2. Lead and manage the polymer technical marketing team, setting goals, and objectives while providing guidance and support to improve services and find solutions. 3. Provide an assertive communication with technical marketing team and all PRC related stakeholders. 4. Implement, communicate and supervise high safety standards. 5. Collaborate with the marketers/sales, research, planning, supply chain and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning of PRC polymer products and services in the market. 6. Identify and engage with key industrial stakeholders to reinforce the company's presence and reputation in the customers and polymer industry. 7. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and help maintain a competitive edge. 8. Oversee the creation of engaging marketing content, including product literature, and presentations. 9. Develop and manage the technical marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. 10. Organize and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote PRC company's polymer offerings. 11. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards in marketing materials and messaging. 12. Continuously evaluate and refine the technical marketing strategy based on performance metrics, market feedback, and industry developments. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Polymer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred. 2. Extensive and proven experience (higher than 15 years) in polymer technical marketing or a related role, with a proven track record of success in driving people and business growth. 3. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams. 4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 5. In-depth knowledge of the polymer industry technologies and its applications. 6. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing the polymer industry. 7. Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office, SAP and marketing digital platforms. |
