Auditor/ Sr. Auditor Petro Rabigh was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. The plant is valued at about US $10 billion and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $9 billion that reached full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and provided a wide range of new high value-added products, some of which are exclusive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Duties and responsibility 1. Systems Audit Examine and evaluate the company's financial and IT systems, management procedures and internal control to ensure that records are accurate and records are adequate to protect against fraud and make recommendations on systems and procedures being reviewed. 2. Audit of Operations Review company operations and evaluate their efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with corporate policies and procedures, laws and government regulations. 3. Controls. Recommend controls for the company's IT systems to ensure system reliability and data integrity. 4. Procedures Compliance Ensure that the company's accounting and auditing procedures and practices are in accordance with its financial policies and applicable government regulations, and report to the General Auditor the findings and recommendations. 5. Financial Reporting Audit financial reports produced by the Finance Department in order to ensure that they accurately reflect the financial position of the company. 6. Asset Auditing Audit assets in order to safeguard the assets against loss from unauthorized acquisition, use, or disposition. Qualifications 1- First degree in Finance or Accounting or Engineering 2- Professional certification preferred CIA, or CFE, Certified information system Auditor. 3- Operations Technology background. 4- (3 - 6) years’ experience in Financial Auditing, Technical background. 5- Knowledge and experience in professional audit practices. 6- Thorough knowledge of company's financial policies and processes. 7- Strong understanding of audit procedures, risk evaluation, internal control system, audit work plan, and audit program. 8- Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions to complex control, financial or technical issues. 9- Ability to work independently while supporting teamwork. |
